  • Epiphyllum Trail
    8/00 am-2/00 pm
    09/01/2020
17255 W Zoo Rd, Escondido, CA 92027, USA

Part of the mission of the San Diego Epiphyllum Society (SDES) is to preserve the past and protect the future or epiphyllum hybrids. SDES has been fortunate in establishing and maintaining a collection of epiphyllums at the Safari.  A portion of this collection is on display as Epiphyllum Train in the Park

Because of COVID-19 we are  being limited to the number of people that can be at this event at anyone time.  We need volunteers but you must confirm with Jerry Moreau prior to attending.   The phone number is available on the SDES Contacts page in the Member’s Only area of this website.  https://sdepis.org/members-only/sdes-contacts/ , or you can email him at SafariPark@sdepis.org  .

Note: if it rains the event is canceled or if it gets too hot they leave early.

The display is supported and maintained by SDES volunteers. There is a simple process that all volunteers at the park must go through. But the benefits of volunteering are significant. Click the link https://sdepis.org/epiphyllum-trail/ for more information.

There is a place for everyone to volunteer.  There are many ways and things for Epiphyllum Trail volunteer to do and you are always welcome.
