Submit photographs between 1 September and the 2nd Wednesday in October.

The contest results will be announced at the SDES general meeting on the 2nd Wednesday in November.

The November meeting presentation will be a presentation of all photographs submitted for the contest.

This is a not-to-be-missed presentation, as our new laser projector provides amazingly accurate color rendition of these photographs on a large screen, which was never possible until now.

Photo categories galleries are Single Bloom, Multi Bloom and EpiArt. 

Quick look at contest guidelines:

• Contest categories are Single Bloom, Multi-Bloom and EpiArt.
  • Each category has specific requirements.
• You must be a member of the San Diego Epiphyllum Society (SDES) or a epiphyllum society associated with the Epiphyllum Society of America (ESA) to participate in the Single Bloom and Multi-Bloom categories.
  • The Epi Art category is open to everyone (members and non-members).
• There are limits to the number of photographs each photographer may submit in each category.
• Entries accepted between September 1st and the 2nd Wednesday in October.
  • Method of submitting entries is via email to webmaster@sdepis.org. 
• Photographs will be judged on composition (50%), creativity (30%, and uniqueness of the bloom (20%).

If you are a member of  San Diego Epiphyllum Society or  an epiphyllum society associated with the Epiphyllum Society of America please take the time to vote for  "Peoples Choice" from each category. Voting  deadline for submitting "People Choice"  is the first Wednesday in November.
